Tads Records and the African Museum will donate a portion of the sale from Gregory Isaacs’ last album to the Gregory Isaacs Foundation. This is in memory of the singer, who died of lung cancer on October 25, last year.
The foundation was established on July 15, this year, which would have been Isaacs’ 60th birthday. It will support basic education and childrens charities in Jamaica.
On Tuesday, October 25, the foundation donated school supplies to institutions that Gregory Isaacs assisted in his lifetime.
In addition to foundation, June Isaacs, the late singers widow, will utilize Gregory Issacs – The African Museum & Tads Collection Volume II to launch an anti-drug campaign in the coming weeks, which will warn children of the dangers of illegal drugs.
