Atlanta Hip-Hop Day is a two-day outdoor festival designed to pay homage to Hip-Hop History and Atlantas contribution to the Hip-Hop culture. The festival’s 1st annual event will launch today Saturday, October 22nd & Sunday, October 23rd at Robert W. Woodruff Park in the heart of downtown Atlanta or, at least, that was the plan. Today, news broke that Mayor Kasim Reed’s office had pulled the plug on the event However, festival organizers say the event is still happening.
