About “The BET Hip Hop Awards”
“The BET Hip Hop Awards” is an annual celebration that pays homage to a culture that changed the world while highlighting the best in hip hop music. It’s a subculture defined by four key aesthetic elements: MCing/rapping, DJing/scratching, breaking/dancing, and graffiti writing. The “BET Hip Hop Awards” celebrates it all by providing a platform for this culture to be cultivated and honored.
