Considering the fact that Justin Bieber first appeared on YouTube and was merely known to his family members and a couple of friends, we might righteously say that he is one very lucky dude. But how could all this happen? Was it all luck in the case of Justin Bieber or was it something else? This article is going to present the main principles and facts that lead to the conclusion that Justin Bieber is both lucky and talented.
Returning to the beginning, Justin Bieber simply had a couple of videos posted on YouTube. In a short time, he became the most subscribed artist on YouTube! He was so adored by the community, by the entire world. Although he was just like 14 years old, people did hear the golden voice God had blessed him with. Also, thanks to his amazing voice, great artists remarked him and his talent (his golden voice) in a short period of time – this is basically how he ended up going to the United States of America to sign an important contract with a record label. What followed after? Fame, celebrity, a lot of concerts and a lot of invitations on TV shows to give live interviews – Justin Bieber took part in all of this.
The average person might ask himself: why can’t that talented singer, dancer, actor, guitar player or other person with any other type of talent can’t get as far as Justin did? There are a lot of reasons for that and I will now try to explain.
First of all it’s about that thing called charisma (i.e. the “IT” factor). If you have it, you’re likely to be noticed, if you don’t have it then you’re likely to be observed by average people, while record labels or musicians wouldn’t consider you any special, even if you did a cover song for their original songs. However, charisma is not necessarily mandatory – if you are confident in front of the camera, if people can feel you sending a message while singing then you will likely be noticed and gather fans.
Another thing is that you should have quality videos only. Low quality videos or having a video which will have a “second, better version uploaded” are not too great techniques or approaches to go with. Give yourself some time, create your own YouTube channel and start uploading your videos there. While being recorded by the camera, make sure that what you record is something unique and amazing. Also, make sure that as long as you sing, the room or place you sing at is exactly like it would be your stage during a live concert. Let the message flow through!
Take the YouTube video description seriously and make sure to set it to publicly viewable. It’s also important and hard at the same time to choose a catchy title for your videos. If you’re not sure about it, try checking other successful YouTube video titles or try asking friends who always have great ideas and then you will end up with something useful.
Most importantly, don’t give up hope! If you’re not very talented, this doesn’t mean that you have no chance. Some of today’s top acts are not strong singers: Jennifer Lopez and Janet Jackson to name a few. That being said, don’t blame others for not noticing you. Unfortunately, talent isn’t something you can learn and the music business is very fickle!
