Once again, Atlanta will celebrate Caribbean American Heritage Month with a Caribbean Film Festival during the month of June. Listed below are the films that will be screened at this year’s festival.
Saturday, June 8 @ 1pm – ‘The Merikins’ (Trinidad and Tobago), Journey of the Lion (Jamaica) and Africa Unite (Jamaica)
Sunday, June 9 @ 2pm – WAR Stories (Guyana)
Tuesday, June 11 @ 6pm – Panama Canal (Panama)
Thursday, June 13 @ 6pm – La Ultima Rumba de Papa Montero-The Last Dance of Papa Montero (Cuba)
Sunday, June 16 @ 2pm – Born 2 Run (Jamaica)
As always, the screenings are free and open to everyone. Parking is available in the Lanier Parking Deck behind the Central Library on Carnegie Way.
