The third annual Afro-Carib Festival (ACF), on February 25 at the Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater in Miramar, Florida, has released its lineup and reggae artist Koffee will be the main feature.
The Afro-Carib festival, presented by Visit Lauderdale, will celebrate the blended cultures that evolved through a shared bond rooted in African origins. These powerful bonds have manifested to create a people rich in music, culture, and cuisine.
Patrons will be treated to live performances by a carefully curated roster of unique, soulful artistes representing reggae, Afrobeats, Afropop, reggaeton, salsa, and other musical genres from the Caribbean and African diaspora.
Grammy Kid, Koffee, is headlining the popular music and culture festival., Koffee’s message of peace and love has captivated the world, making her a fan favorite. Best known for her viral hit Toast, Koffee, at the age of 18, she was the youngest and first female reggae artiste to win a Grammy for Best Reggae Album.
Tekno, a Nigeria-born singer and songwriter, will also perform on the Afro-Caribbean stage. Since the release of his 2016 international hit Pana, the self-proclaimed Afropop king and Nigeria-born singer/songwriter/producer has been heating up the digital and radio airwaves.
Since then, he has produced a steady stream of hits for himself and others. He is now based in the United States and spreads positive vibes through melodies laced over a perfect blend of Afrobeats and Afropop beats.
Grammy-nominated, Cuba-born Jacob Forever who is known for his artistic diversity between bachata, urban, and reggaeton, using fusions of rap and reggaeton, will also perform at the festival.
