The very first Caribbean Restaurant Week (CARIRWE) in Metro Atlanta will take place July 1-7, 2017 in several locations throughout the Metro area. For this exciting week, participating restaurants will be encouraged to offer supporting patrons special prices on selected dishes.
CARIRWE was formed to enhance the growth of Caribbean restaurants in Metro Atlanta and to expose the mainstream community to the unique cuisine of the Caribbean region. More than 25 restaurants in Metro area will be participating this year.
CARIRWE is a community initiative spearheaded by Georgia Goodwill Ambassador Valrie Walker Sanders, in partnership the Georgia Caribbean American Heritage Coalition. Community volunteers represent various local organizations.
