Rihanna represented the Caribbean extremely well at last night’s annual fashion Super Bowl, the Met Gala. As far as I’m concerned, the Met Gala Belle of the Ball was definitely Bajan pop princess Rihanna. YAAAAAAAASSS!!! Rihanna slayed the Met Gala red carpet with her bright yellow dress which was keeping in the theme of the night “China: Through The Looking Glass”.
The scene stealing dress was designed by Chinese couture designer Guo Pei and required a clearing of the red carpet for her entry because the train needed four (yes I said 4!) handlers – Go Riri!!
This Caribbean princess is no stranger to being the center of attention on a red carpet. She’s had major red carpet moments but I believe this over the top Met Gala dress keeps her at the top of her red carpet game and will be remembered as an historic red carpet moment.
