Last night RCS was in the building for entertainment mogul’s Mona Scott-Young’s exclusive, invite-only Annual Monami/Eastern TV Holiday Celebration at La.venue in New York City. The event was sponsored by MYX Fusions Moscato, Bartenura Wines, CIROC and Everything Girls Love. Mona Scott-Young, a very savvy business woman of Haitian descent, has climbed the ladder of success with the uber hit television franchise “Love & Hip Hop”. Young is also part owner of MYX Premium Moscato and appears to have only begun to scratch the surface!
The party was filled with cast members from “Love & Hip Hop New York” such as Yandy Smith who was all a glow and beautiful while expecting her second child! Yandy had her stepson Little Mandeecees as her escort for the night. He is so adorable and was cutting the rug later that night doing the “Dougie” dance! Other members from the New York cast in attendance included Rich Dollaz, Tara Wallace, and Cyn Santana. Also in attendance, Amina Buddafly who looked stunning, and Rashidah Ali who I didn’t recognize without the fiery red hair! She looked amazing in her body con dress showing off her new figure!
The stars of the “Love and Hip & Hop Atlanta” franchise Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez were in the house getting their party on! They were dancing the night away and engaged with the crowd. Joseline came out in true Hossalene fashion donning a see-through red lace dress and red hot hair to match! As you can see, the dress left little to the imagination! Stevie matched her fly with a three-piece textured black suit ensemble. The swanky venue was decorated with elements of silver and gold along with white glittery snow which set the tone for a “Winter Wonderland” with a touch of bling!
DJ Chris Washington did his thing spinning hits old and new that had the crowds feet hypnotized on the dance floor. There were cocktails flowing from Ciroc Vodka and of course MYX Moscato. Tray passes of fancy hors d’oeuvres and a table of sweet treats of cookies, cake pops and candy coated popcorn to name a few.
Other guests in attendance for the soirée were Jonathan Fernandez, celebrity makeup artist to K. Michelle on her show “K.Michelle: My Life”, German recording artist, BB Thomaz and fashion writer, editor and TV personality Claire Sulmers of “The Fashion Bomb Daily”.
Mona was a gracious host and throws a fabulous party! Can’t wait for next year’s invite.
