Controversial Jamaican dancehall artist Alkaline has been granted a visa to perform in the United States. The artist known for his very sexual lyrics will be performing in Queens, NY at Club Amazura with another dancehall favorite Mavado.
According the the Jamaica Star, Alkaline’s publicist, Kymona, said that Alkaline is being very careful about who he chooses to associate himself with and doesn’t want to find himself in any kind of trouble.
“We weren’t nervous about it. He has been travelling to other countries and we are pleased that the embassy has made it so that we can perform in that region. His fans are pleased and they are eager to see him in the US,” Kymona said.
