The South Jersey Caribbean Festival is a FREE cultural event that brings the color, spirit, and energy of Caribbean culture to life on the Camden New Jersey waterfront. It features Steel Pan, Reggae Bands, Calypso, Soca, and Latin Music. There will be a parade of flags, cultural dance performances, steel pan workshops, Stilt walkers, arts, crafts, and Caribbean food vendors. Its a day of fun for the entire family!
The South Jersey Caribbean Festival’s 2014 Honorees will be Father Martin Gutwein of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in downtown Camden and Mr. Archeye Leacock of Trinidad and Tobago, founder of the Institute for the Development of African American Youth (IDAAY).
