Love her or hate her Nicki Minaj is today’s pop star to be reckoned with. Although she has surpassed being classified as just a rap artist by continually producing music that appeals to all races, ages, colors, and nationalities, Minaj still prefers to identify herself as a rapper from Southside Jamaica Queens (by way of Trinidad!).
