Rapper Snoop Dogg turned reggae artist Snoop Lion has finally been kicked off of the number one spot on the Billboard Reggae Charts. He was reigning there for a whopping 46 weeks with his debut album ‘Reincarnated.’

Snoop spent 46 weeks in the number one slot on the billboard reggae charts. Now he’s been ousted by none other than a Jamaican.

Grammy-award winning Jamaican-born dancehall artist, Sean Paul, whose sixth album ‘Full Frequency’ debuted in the number one spot this past week, ousted the rapper turned reggae singer.

It is Paul’s fifth # 1 Reggae album debut on the Billboard Reggae charts.

The album has also debuted as the #1 album in Japan while charting high in multiple territories including top 5 in Mexico.

‘Full Frequency,’ released on the Atlantic/VP Records label, features lead singles ‘Want Dem All’ featuring Konshens and ‘Riot’ featuring Damian Marley.

Paul has also made history as the first Jamaican artiste to have an album cover with an interactive app which is free and allows fans to access music, videos, tour dates, and interact with the artiste through his social media sites.

‘Full Frequency,’ through the Layar app, allows fans to scan the album artwork with their android or IOS device and experience Paul’s content popping up on their screens.
