Popular reggae gospel artist Papa San scored big and gained huge national attention when he closed out the 2014 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration with long-time friend Doug E. Fresh.
Papa San began his dancehall career in the 1980s but turned to Christianity in 1997. Before leaving secular music behind he enjoyed many hits including Maddy Maddy Cry, Strange, Style and Fashion, I Will Survive and Round Table Talk (featuring Lady G).
Papa San’s latest album (released January 21) One Blood is currently atop the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart. One Blood includes collabos with Stitchie, American gospel mainstay Fred Hammond, Israel Houghton, DJ Nicholas, Ryan Mark and Trinidadian Sherwin Gardner.
