Miranda teamed up with seasoned creative events agency, The Skky Brand to produce the extraordinary affair created to empower women and young girls to embrace their beauty inside and out.

During the Atlanta premier, the intimate beauty social sponsored by ORS Curls Unleashed and Sunny’s Hair & Wigs, guests had the opportunity to meet and greet the breakout star as well as network, discover new beauty tips and techniques all while enjoying music, cupcakes by Razia Burton and complimentary Myx Fusion cocktails. Gift bag and raffle sponsors included LAMIK, Curls Unleashed, Myx Fusion, Chef Rob’s Caribbean Cafe and make up by Geno Freeman.

The evening also included a candid Q&A hosted by The Skky Brand CEO & Entertainment Socialite DiDi Skky, with Miranda addressing hot topics such as; life as a reality star, relationships, and personal beauty regimens.

“Wednesday night was amazing, said Miranda! I’m so honored by the wonderful group of women that came out to support the launch of Girls With Curls.  It was great to be able to connect in a more personal way with viewers and fellow Hairnistas.

Girls With Curls is more than just a night about hair…it’s a chance for women to connect, share, and network. It’s about celebrating hair and beauty in all its shapes and forms.

The Girls With Curls multi-city tour will include Miranda’s hometown of Montgomery, Miami, Charlotte, Chicago, DC, and beyond.  Its sister initiative, ‘Be A Girlfriend’ will also include stops at Historically Black Colleges and Universities such as Alabama State, Clark Atlanta University, Florida Memorial, Florida A & M University, Howard and more.

My initiative “Be a Girlfriend” is so important to me because my personal and professional survival has been largely due to the support I have from my girlfriend circle. My goal for the HBCU tour is to help young women realize the decisions and connections they make can affect the rest of their lives.  It will be taking “girl talk” to the next level.”

Catch Africa Miranda on Bravo’s The New Atlanta Tuesdays 10:00pm EST.
