‘Love Is In The Air’ is the title of Warrior King’s latest album which was recently released on iTunes. Now on a global trek to promote his latest project, Warrior King visited Atlanta for a one night stand at Club Infrared at Underground Atlanta.
Before his show at the Underground, Warrior King and his manager Biggaton stopped by WRFG 89.3 Atlanta and spent some time with the Caribbean Runnings Crew. During the interview Warrior King talked about the benefits of having more production
control with his latest album. Under his very own label ‘Roots Warrior Production he wrote and produced the lead single “Wanna Give You Love”. He strongly believes that having his own label is beneficial for him because you have “more control over your work”. ”Sometimes you work for producers and by the time you’re finished, the production may be different from your original vision… Its my sound its my vibe”
Although its been 10 years since Warrior King aka Mark Dyer gave us his hit song ‘Virtuous Woman” he clearly has not lost his touch. Warrior King gave a stunningly energetic performance in contrast to his subdued offstage demeanor. But not surprising since he did mention a couple of artists that he would love to work with are Capleton, Bounty Killer and Sizzla!
