Konshens, Jamaica’s hottest dancehall artist, made his way to Atlanta this weekend. The highly anticipated, much talked about show did not disappoint!
After resting up from a meet and greet held earlier in the day at Four Seasons record store in Stone Mountain, Konshens was ready for Atlanta. After some great opening acts including Atlanta’s very own dancehall diva Dovey Magnum, Konshens took the stage at the Artium about 3:30AM. Although it was a late start, Konshens was right on time!
Konshens has many sides to him as an artist and his arsenal of music is well-rounded. His songs include Momma songs, bad man lyrics, conscious music and, of course, girl dem bubblin’ tunes! De “girl dem suga” now has a new definition!!! It was girls gone wild at the Atrium and Konshens gave the girls exactly what they wanted! This show was definitely all about the ladies and Konshens is definitely a ladies man. I enjoyed the show, his crowd interaction and from all accounts EVERYONE had a good time.
