So we already know that Miami Carnival 2011 went down on Sunday, October 9 at SunLife Stadium. For the most part, a great time was had by all (Alison Hinds debacle notwithstanding). So let’s move on and focus on the positive. Hopefully, Miami Carnival will be bigger and even better next year!!! Click thru to check out pictures of the phenomenal mas bands and their costumes. Kudos to the Miami Carnival 2011 winners the Haitian band “TiChapo” for their portrayal “Plante Pou Rekolte” (their performance is toward the end of the video). It is a well deserved win for my Haitian crew!!! Sak passe!!!!
