Atlanta’s favorite Celebrity Chef Delroy Christian is always on the ATL scene with one of his celeb friends. This time he was styling, profiling and catering for Grammy award singer-songwriter Ne-Yo. Delroy prepared a sexy spread for 1600 of Neyo’s most die hard fans and Atlanta tastemakers at a secret swanky location. As a talented chef from Jamaica, Delroy has to always be prepared for anything. This concert style location did not have an official kitchen so Delroy created a make shift gourmet kitchen setting at the location so the show could go on!!
The R&B singer Ne-yo threw a very private ‘Fan Celebration’ for about 1600 fans complete with music, food and fun! This celebration was to promote Malibu Red, his very own alcoholic beverage that he launched with Malibu Red liquor company. Ne-yo has personally created this unique fusion of flavors with the Malibu Red team. The liquor, which is a joint venture with the Malibu brand, is a 70-proof mixture of coconut rum and silver tequila.
Ne-yo performed many of his hits from his catalog of songs to a standing room only crowd.
Delroy recently won the Fan Favorite for the best tasting dish at the The Atlanta Chef’s Expo. He and a collaborating chef partnered and made a Fire Roasted Mahi Mahi with Garlic Mashed Potato and Cajun Cream Sauce. Yum! Delroy has some other projects in the works such as working with (Grammy Award winning R&B legend) Gladys Knights son Shanga on opening a new restaurant in the downtown area of Atlanta. Delroy is a chef on the move!!
