Aretha Franklin Tribute
This year’s Grammy Awards was one of the best ever proven by virtue of the fact that I didn’t fall asleep! There were several historic moments. The Aretha Franklin tribute was one of those moments. It was great to see Aretha and a great performance by Martina McBride, Florence Welch, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams and shout out to Christina Aguilera who had a point to prove and did (on stage trip notwithstanding!). Jennifer Hudson……nothing more to say….R E S P E C (intentionally misspelled, its the Caribbean version!)
Oh na na….Riri skin out pon di Grammys!!!!
By the way Cee Lo’s performance with the Muppets and Gwyneth Paltrow was as phenomenal as it was original. He was definitely channeling Elton John. Can’t find video on this but as soon as I can, I will post it!
