The winner of “The X Factor” is … Melanie Amaro!!! Heartfelt congratulations and kudos go out to Melanie Amaro for her amazing win of the very first X-Factor competition!! Melanie Amaro, born in the British Virgin Islands, beat out Josh Krajcik (second), and Chris Rene (third) to cop what is arguably this year’s most coveted title and she did it with style, grace and an amazing voice!!! V.I. MASSSIVE STAND UP!!!!
After her name was announced, Melanie was utterly speechless. All she could do was whisper, “Oh my god,” several times when Steve Jones tried to get a comment out of her. Her family rapidly rushed the stage to hug her, while her mentor, Simon Cowell, commented: “America, thank you for giving this girl an opportunity … She is a star, I’m very proud and very grateful.” Thank you Melanie!
