On Sunday, June 11, the Caribbean Film Festival in conjunction with the BronzeLens Film Festival will be hosting a screening of the film “The House on COCO Road”.
This is a documentary based on a family who were members of the Black Power movement who left the US in the search of a more progressive life in Grenada. They wanted to get away from the prejudice in the American society. They saw the Grenada revolution as the way forward only to have America invade the country. The documentary takes a look at life and the search for a better quality in the eighties.
