The two-day competition will represent elite track and field athletes from across the United States and the Caribbean. Atlanta Georgia Relays (AGR) welcomes athletes of all ages. Youth, Open, and Masters participants will have the opportunity to compete and represent their respective countries. What makes this competition unique? Competition is fierce. Athletes are coming from all over the world to compete. There will be vendors, live music, and most importantly FUN.
Guess who will be at the 2018 edition of AGR? 12-year-old sensation, Briana Lyston of Jamaica! She is the fastest youth in the world; holding records in the 100m and 200m. Brianna has taken the track world by storm. In 2017, AGR saw 1,500+ athletes; comprising of local, national, and world distinguished honorees representing countries such as USA, Jamaica, Bahamas,Guyana, and Trinidad & Tobago, and many of other countries. In recognition of the success by Team USA and the Bahamas at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, track and field gold medalist Natasha Hastings, and Shaunae Miller made appearances to sign autographs and participate an intimate “Meet and Greet” sessions.
