MTV Real World St. Thomas will feature local music of St. Thomas.  Specifically, Spectrum Band St. Thomas’ 2012 Carnival Road March Winner will have their song “Boom” playing during tonight’s episode.

Spectrum Band

MTV informed lead singer Malvern Gump that not only would the song “Boom” be featured but additionally the “band name will be listed at the bottom of the screen while the song is on, and there will also be a link to the band’s itunes/facebook/etc on MTV’s Soundtrack Blog, at soundtrack.mtv.com!”

RCS is soooo excited for Spectrum Band.  They are a very talented band however, some of the smaller islands do not get as much media attention for their music as some of the larger islands do such as Trinidad and Jamaica.   LUV DAT!!

“The Real World: St. Thomasairs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.

RCS SIDEBAR:  The lyrics of “Boom” state “like George of the jungle, we come here to rumble” so I’m wondering what di baxide is going happen on this episode!!!! LOL
