Red Bull Culture Clash came to Kingston, Jamaica – the home of reggae and dancehall and the birthplace of sound clashes – for an invigorating competition that pitted dancehall, reggae, hip-hop and soca against each other.Among the four star-studded crews, Romeich Entertainment, Riddimstream Platta, Strike Force and Do It For The Culture,the latter, stocked heavy with artistes, producers and selectors with decades of experience, proved that youthful exuberance can only go so far.Led by Grammy Award-winning music producer Salaam Remi, dancehall and movie star Spragga Benz, Billboard chart-topping producer Jah Snowcone, legendary selectors Jack Scorpio and Disco Neil and popular radio disc jockey DJ Bambino,
Do It For The Culture rocked the house and took home the winner’strophy (as well as ultimate bragging rights) as the inaugural Red BullCulture Clash Jamaica champions.
