Somebody at NBC’s ‘Today Show‘ loves the Caribbean!! On the heels of Alison Hinds appearing on the “The Today Show“, Shaggy performed on the popular NBC morning show on Monday. The Grammy nominee performed “Christmas in Jamaica”. Mi neva know Shaggy coulda sing a chune!!!! The song choice very apropos as Shaggy will be heading to Jamaica to prepare for his annual benefit concert “Shaggy & Friends”. What do you think of his performance? Shaggy is nominated for Best Reggae Album for the 2012 Grammys for his album “Summer in Kingston”.
In preparation for the highly anticipated Shaggy & Friends concert, the deejay, alongside his team at the Make a Difference Charity Foundation, is kicking their promotion for the third staging of the charity concert into full gear.
The confirmed line up for the show will see performances from Lauryn Hill, Maxi Priest, Half Pint, Cocoa Tea, Deneice Williams, I Octane, Romain Virgo, Assassin a.k.a. Agent Sasco, Wayne Marshall, Tami Chynn, Gyptian and Mr. Vegas.
