Shaggy and Friends Make Music for Haiti

Reggae dancehall pop veteran, Shaggy (best known for his hit song It Wasn’t Me) pulled together a who’s who of Caribbean music and recorded a benefit song for Haiti. The song is entitled Rise Again. Along with Shaggy, Sean Paul, Sean Kingston, Etana, Tessanne Chin, Haitian musician Belo, David Rudder, Edwain Yearwood and soca singers Alison Hinds and Destra Garcia all came together to help the earthquake ravaged island of Haiti.

The song, Rise Again, was written by Shaggy. .`



`How can I stop the earth from shaking?,` asks the song. `What can we do to make it better? Is it too late to try?`, the singers respond: `We shall rise again‘. Shaggy says the song lets Haitians know that “we are here for them.” It is part of a relief fund established by mobile phone company Digicel. The song is a classic!!! Good work my dupes! .
