Shaggy and Friends concert went down on Saturday, January 4, 2014!! Bwoy the stage (and back stage) was filled with the who’s who of Jamaica’s reggae elite! Jamaican celebrities like super star Neyo, The Voice winner Tessanne Chin, Lady Saw, Serani, Christopher Martin, Ce’Cile, Assassin aka Agent Sasco, and of course the Mr. Boombastic himself Shaggy just to name a few. Jamaican radio personality Ms. Kitty The Fluffy Diva was on stage to introduce artists and veteran songstress Marcia Griffiths even graced the place with her presence like a true legend.
Shaggy and Friends is an annual concert fundraiser benefitting the kids and their families at the Bustamante Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica. In an effort to broaden the outreach and awareness of the needs of the Hospital, the Foundation has decided to leverage the power of social media to elevate the visibility of how viewers and patrons can support the Hospital. Many donations poured in including Jah Cure and Wife, Kamilla McDonald who donated JA$200,000 to benefit Bustamante Childrens Hospital! Check out the pics!!
