New York, NY, April 30, 2012: With over a hundred thousand men and women being released from correctional facilities all over the country and a recidivism rate of over fifty percent there needs to be a non-traditional approach in providing adequate services for these men and women returning back to society.
Archie L. McInnis, Jr. and Full Effect Gospel Ministries opened Rt. 66 Road to Success, Transitional House for Men at 101 Catherine Street, Albany, New York! Since this heart-felt project has not been funded by any outside sources, FEGM and Archie McInnis will present, Internal Affairs; A riveting Gospel Stage Play on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 2pm and 7pm. Proceeds for this event will benefit Rt 66 Transitional House for Men, Albany, New York. A model re-entry program for progressive formerly incarcerated men who wish to make a successful transition back into their communities.
Internal Affairs has a message that will make your spirit come alive with laughter, joy and soulful entertainment. Internal Affairs makes you wonder whether some things really are better left unsaid.
Life often poses difficult questions whose answers have very significant and often life-changing repercussions. While Internal Affairs presents such a dilemma, it guarantees to be the most hilariously funny, thought provoking and spirited stage play you will see this year. While it is a gospel music stage play, its music genre is such that will entertain all who attend.
If you are contemplating a ticket purchase, you might want to go ahead and get one for a friend as well; you will need somebody to “high-five” and lean on in laughter throughout the show and you may just leave the theater asking the same questions you’ll hear in our theme song …Should I talk about it? Should I let it go? Should I clear it from my conscience or should I just … keep it inside?
