Caribbean Movers & Shakers May 23, 2013

The 2013 Caribbean American Movers & Shakers Networking Series will kick off in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday May 23, 2013.  The event will be hosted by Red Carpet Shelley Co-Founder/CEO of RedCarpetShelley.com.

This year’s honorees include: Film Producer Roger Bobb; songwriters/producers Rock City aka Planet VI; Reggae Ambassador: Gramps Morgan; DaFlavaRadio.com, Rico Vibes;  Star Time Inc: Levi MacSween;  Radio Pioneer Glenn Simmonds; The Whatz Happening Editor: Annette Lemon; Film Producer, John P Wheatley;  Caribbean Association of Georgia, President; Jackie Watson amongst others.

The annual recognition identifies professionals and civic-minded individuals of Caribbean heritage, living in the metro Atlanta area, who have contributed to the multicultural community.  The accomplishments of our honorees, plays a significant role in the continued growth of the Atlanta metro area.” ~Michael Thomas, Caribbean Media Network.

The Caribbean Media Network, in conjunction with affiliates, will host a memorable networking celebration on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Kouture Lounge located at 84 12th Street; Atlanta GA 30339 (Midtown). The event will start promptly at 7:00p.m. The event timing coincides with the 25th Anniversary of Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, to be held on Memorial Day Weekend 2013.

The 2013 Caribbean American Movers & Shakers Networking Series is a series of promotional events, in the prime markets of Atlanta, Georgia, New York City, and Miami, Florida.  As mentioned, the 2013 Atlanta Networking Event will be hosted by Caribbean-American diva, Red Carpet Shelley, who serves as an ambassador of Caribbean lifestyle and culture.  Music will be provided by DJs and radio personalities Kahlil Wonda and Super Pec of Highlanda Sound.
