Hundreds of friends, family, and reality stars braved the elements and trekked to Newark, NJ to celebrate the holidays with Haitian entertainment mogul Mona Scott-Young, founder of Monami Entertainment, and her husband Shawn Young.

Guests arrived at the Newark Museum to find it decked in lavish gold, amber and bronze décor, courtesy of event designer Hiram Smith of HiramStyle Productions. Special guests included “Love & Hip Hop NY” stars Yandy Smith, Joe Budden, Peter Gunz and Tara Wallace; “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Benzino; Bravo star Chef Roble; “The Gossip Game” co-stars Kim Osorio and Ms. Drama;  Charlene Dance (Global National Marketing Director for Strength of Nature LLC); Hot 97 personality Cipha Sounds; AllHipHop.com’s Chuck Creekmur and more. Attendees sipped on Ciroc cocktails and Myx Fusions Moscato, while enjoying a spread of treats laid out by Chef Corey Wallerson that included gourmet popcorn by Pink Popcorn of Atlanta and cupcakes by Pastel Cupcakes. Then everyone hit the dance floor to two-step to the sounds of DJ, “The Legendary” Chris Washington. For those who were in the spirit of giving, the GrassROOTS Community Foundation was on site to accept donations for their organization, which supports the health and development of young girls. At the end of the night, Beautiful Textures made sure that guests walked away with premium gift bags filled with signature product.

Special thanks to Monami Entertainment, Ciroc, Myx Fusions Moscato, Beautiful Textures, The Newark Museum, HiramStyle Productions and the GrassROOTS Community Foundation.
