Once again Team RCS was in effect at the Miami Broward One Carnival. Despite the RCS crew being downsized by flight cancellations due to Hurricane Matthew, the show still went on.

For me, the highlight Miami Carnival 2016 was the triumphant return of Alison Hinds after a five year absence! I was there in 2011 when Alison Hinds didn’t perform at Miami Carnival “due to contractual obligations to the stadium and the financial repercussions ” (statement from Miami Broward One Carnival Committee). Needless to say, at the time, the Caribbean Queen wasn’t pleased. But as the saying goes, “all is well that ends well!”. Alison Hinds took the Miami Carnival 2016 stage, made up for lost time and gave the performance of a lifetime!
