NAMILIA is a pro women brand whose creators Emilia Pfahl and Nan Li are all about bringing a voice to women’s issue through their designs.  The duo has been designing since 2015 and has made a huge impact in the fashion world with their messaging through their brand.  Celebrities such as Rihanna, SZA and Cardi B have worn the brand.

The NAMILIA SS19 show, Crusade of the Pussycats did not veer from what they are all about feminism.  The clothing has messages across the clothing, “pussy power”, “I am not a whore and “in NAMILIA’s name we pray”.  They tie religion, politics and sexuality together.  The collection is definitely for someone of a rock star status!  The over sized wings, and ornate head dress that was reminiscent of something that the Pope would wear were very unique. Lots of ornamentation throughout and the colors of red, black and white was the color scheme.   The main garment that was worn throughout were the chaps that each model seem to have sported down the runway.

NAMILIA also had a few celebrities walk in the show such as Paris Hilton who modeled 3 looks for the brand, and Teyana Taylor who was the show stopper by closing out the show.  Speaking of celebrities spotted in the front row was Jay Alexander, (Miss J. runway coach of America’s Next Top Model), Rapper PHresher and our new favorite couple Karrueche Tran and Victor Cruz just to name a few.

NAMILIA is a small design house that has made major strides in the fashion industry within the 3 years that they have been on the scene.  They have a message to send and they are doing it through freedom of speech as well as freedom of fashion!
