There is a buzz in New York City for the first ever “SOUND FEST VIBEZ in the PARK” (#SFVP).  The first ever outdoor sound system festival and stage show will hit New York, on Sunday, July 10, 2016.

The highly-anticipated event will include top sound systems and high profile selectors including Stone Love, Tony Matterhorn, Fire Links, Body Guard, Metromedia, King Addies, Renaissance, Massive B, Soul Supreme and Banky Hype!

The Roy Wilkins Park in Queens, New York will be the backdrop for the inaugural “SOUND FEST VIBEZ in the PARK,” providing attendees with a stellar and family oriented entertainment experience. Ultimately, the Caribbean entertainment gurus aim to celebrate and expose the rich sounds and vibes of the sound system to music lovers in the New York Tri-State area with some of the leading selectors and sounds, who are boldly carrying the torch for the culture.

The sound system is ultimately the cornerstone of Jamaican music and culture. And amazingly, the unique art form has not only provided the foundation and driving force behind Reggae and Dancehall music and other Caribbean music genre, but also Hip Hop, modern day DJ culture and EDM! Now more than ever before is a befitting time to celebrate how it all started! #SFVP promises to be fun for the entire family with games for kids and an array of vendors.

There is no doubt that “SOUND FEST VIBEZ in the PARK” will rock, given the impressive resumes of both the sounds and promoters. Irish and Chin have offered their successful brand of Caribbean entertainment via famed events including World Clash, Reeewind, Rumble series and Reggae 4 Japan, among other notable productions. Meanwhile, Irie Jam Radio also boasts a myriad of successful and memorable events under their banner, including the epic Irie Jamboree, Oracabessa and lots more.
