Fashion Designer, Brett Johnson presented his Autumn/Winter 16 collection at the Skylark Clarkson space for New York Fashion Week Mens.

Although Brett may be a new comer to debuting his collection at Fashion Week, this is not his first time at the rodeo.  His line initially launched back in 2013 on a smaller scale with trunk shows. He has had a penchant for sneakers since a young age and would get fabrics and add them to his sneakers to create something different from everyone else.  He was instantly bitten by the fashion bug!

The apparel was very well made in luxurious quality fabrics as well as the footwear.  Each look was meticulously curated.  It was no surprise that the styling was coordinated by no other than Celebrity Stylist and daughter of Antigua June Ambrose.  Ambrose also served as the Creative Director for the evening’s event.  Brett’s designs and June’s styling was a great pairing and made for an outstanding presentation.  All the models were dressed in looks that ranged from dressy casual to work place worthy.  What I loved about the collection is that its appeals to all the masses.  It has a hint of urban from the boots, but also professional with the suits and jacket looks.  It definitely can be taken from the street to office sheik!

The presentation drew a large crowd clambering to check out this fashion line by BET founders Bob and Sheila Johnson’s son.  Many of the fashion industries elite were in attendance from Bethann Hardsion, of the fashion agency, Bethann Management,  actor, Leon , Jay Emanuel , America’s Next Top Model, Creative Director and the president of the CFDA, Steven Kolb.  I was extremely impressed with collection from head to toe.  The collection was impeccably done and I could see so many of my male friends donning his designs.
