Nevis Culturama 41 is now history but that just means the beginning of all the wonderful memories! Although this year’s Culturama festivities were sans the horse and drag races, I still had a great time.
Nevis Culturama is not your typical Caribbean festival, Culturama is part Carnival, part cultural festival and part homecoming!

A total of six Fantasy, three Folklore and five Primary School troupes were on parade on Tuesday August 4th during the 2015 Culturama Cultural Street Parade. My favorite Fantasy group was “Circus Comes to Town”. They really put on a SHOW! My favorite parts of their troupe included the tiger in a cage and the couple who rode the bicycle built for two in addition to someone else who rode a unicycle during the parade. I’ve never seen anything like this – VERY creative.
I had a great time spending time with family and friends and even made some new acquaintances. Enjoy the pics!
