Dancehall sensation Konshens recently dropped his new mixtape “This is Your Konshens” (download free copy here). Not wanting to rest on his laurels, today Konshens took to Facebook to announce he is beginning work on his sophomore album:
“THIS WEEK I WILL START WRITING AND VOICING MUSIC FOR MY SOPHOMORE ALBUM.. THERE IS NO TITLE OR OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE AS YET BUT I WILL ANNOUNCE THAT HERE FIRST AS SOON AS WE DECIDE”
The young artist is soooooo hot right now (including his fire engine red hair) that I’m not sure how he will outdo himself. His smash hit “Gal A Bubble” is currently #1 for fourth week in a row on New York’s Reggae chart. Check out his performance at this year’s Reggae Sumfest – Konshens has arrived!
Over the Labor Day weekend, Konshens took over New York City performing at back-to-back shows around the reggae circuit. Konshens chatted with DJ Enuff about his upcoming On Da Reggae Tip show on Hot97.com along with MTV Iggy and Mass Appeal about his whirlwind success.
