Buju Banton is currently serving a 10 year sentence for drug conspiracy

Grammy-award winning reggae artist Buju Banton (nee Mark Myrie) had another day in court yesterday.   According to the Tampa Bay News, a Federal judge is ordering Terri Wright, the juror accused of misconduct, to hand over her hard drive for a search by a computer expert hired by Buju.

As a result of the alleged juror misconduct Buju Banton’s attorneys seek an overturning of the original conviction and a new trial.

Terri Wright, the forewoman and juror in question continues to deny the allegations against her.  Wright maintains that although she did conduct research, it was done AFTER the completion of the trial – YEAH RIGHT!
