The Jamaican urban action feature film Out the Gate continues to thrill fans across the country as two more major markets have been announced to play the Jamaican picture starring Paul Campbell (Shottas, First Sunday, Dancehall Queen), Oliver Samuels (Oliver at Large), Shelli Boone (Holla, Saints and Sinners) and Everton (E-Dee) Dennis. Atlanta audiences finally get their first chance to see the movie that has blown up Los Angeles and New York City, when the film begins a full week engagement Labor Day Weekend at the AMC North DeKalb 16 starting Sept 2nd (click thru for full details).
The movie, starring two of Jamaicas most legendary actors, Paul Campbell and Oliver Samuels, boasts appearances by dancehall deejay Mr. Lexx, Lady G, Edley Shine of Born Jamaricans, and features a strong musical soundtrack including numbers from Beenie Man, Jadakiss, Busy Signal, Styles P, Turbulance, E-Dee and more. Directed by the Village Brothers and shot on location in Jamaica and Los Angeles, this feature length film has had audiences in New York and LA on the edge of their seats, shouting, laughing and cheering in response to the first Jamaican movie to hit movie theaters in America in a long time.
