ATLANTA, GEORGIA – January 13, 2010 – Our resilient and courageous people have once again been hit by a major natural disaster. Around 5 p.m., on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Preliminary reports paint a grim picture. Now, more than ever, Haiti, and the Haitian People need you.

The Haitian Alliance
shares the sorrow and the grief of the living and wounded who are mourning our dead. Working with Haitian Community Leaders, Caribbean and Georgia Community Leaders around the Metro Atlanta area, The Haitian Alliance is coordinating a campaign to make a difference. We’re calling on you to join us in making a real difference for Haiti.
Our goal is to collect, ship, and distribute that which will make a difference.
For the short run, we need your help with:
– drinking water
– medicine
– non-perishable food rations
– temporary shelter (i.e., tents, blankets, cots, etc.)
– the means to ship what is collected to Haiti immediately
