Get ready for the best BronzeLens Film Festival (BLFF) yet!  The 2013 BLFF has expanded to five days and is set to be an interactive experience designed to empower, entertain and educate attendees from various film industry disciplines, from filmmakers to students to the general public.  They have put together a world class array of BronzeLens expert panels, workshops, domestic and international film screenings and signature events that reflect Atlanta’s unique position as the Film Capital of the South.

BLFF 2013 will take place November 6-10, 2013 at various venues including Atlanta Marriott Marquis (Festival Headquarters), Georgia Pacific Center Auditorium, Ferst Center for the Performing Arts and Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Register Now.

Alice Walker

BLFF2013 kicks off with special pre-festival screenings on Wednesday November 6, 2013. You must see Pratibha Parmar’s Alice Walker: Beauty in Truth and experience the director’s talk back with noted Pulitzer Prize winning author Alice Walker at the Ferst Center for Performing Arts.  Click here to view more information.

Finding the Funk, directed by Nelson George will also be screened later that evening at the Rich Theatre of the Woodruff Arts Center, including a talk back with the noted director and author.

Steve Harvey’s Grand Finale

Friday Night, November 8, is double the pleasure, featuring the highly anticipated HBO film Whoopi Goldberg presents Moms Mabley, which will be screened at the Rich Theatre at Woodruff Arts Center. Later that same evening, BronzeLens will host the Atlanta premiere of comedian Steve Harvey’s Grand Finale with a special Midnight showing.

Closing Night will have much excitement galore as BronzeLens screens The Best Man Holiday, directed by Malcolm Lee. You have to come out to see who will be on the Red Carpet. Register now to be among the first to receive the details of this not-to-be-missed evening.
