Whether it is an elegant ensemble for a chic individual or an elaborate fashion shoot with a New York City backdrop, Fashion Stylist Dawn Holloway has been on her grind since her humble beginnings back in the boogie down Bronx. As her brand has grown she is officially launching her website DHStyle.info on November 5, 2014 at the trendy CHERI HARLEM in New York City.
DHStyle.info is a portal where Holloway houses her “How to Style” video series, tracks trends in fashion and displays her body of work in her portfolio. She also blogs about what’s in vogue and models some of the latest trends off the runway. Dawn is known for her “Chic on the Cheap” style and specializes in the art of high/low dressing. Her website will be a place where you can get style advise and see what the busy stylist is up to.
This is a celebration that marks a milestone in her professional career. She has always had a passion for fashion even as a young catholic school girl reconfiguring her uniform to suit her avant garde tastes despite the threat of detention and suffering for the cause. She hasn’t let up since those early days. Holloway has expertise in the fields of merchandising, product development and fashion styling. Her extensive career has afforded her to work with brands such as Emanuel Ungaro, Nine West Accessories and Redcats USA to name a few. She also had the opportunity to freelance at prestigious companies such as Louis Vuitton, Henri Bendel, and Kenneth Cole. After developing her extensive background and style craft she launched her own style house which she styles individuals, photo shoots and celebrities. She has styled for Dr. Steve Perry and singing sensation Traedonya. She has also partnered with RedCarpetShelley.com, a Caribbean entertainment website as the Fashion Editor where she lends her style strength by attending fashion shows, events etc. and reports on them while representing her Jamaican heritage.
The website launch party will be on November 5, 2014 at Cheri Harlem in New York City.
