The Marley Music Dynaasty is looking for this generation’s next great band or artist. The winner(s) of the competition will win an opportunity to perform live at “jammin’ summer music festivals” and also a chance to record with Grammy award-winning producer Stephen Marley at the legendary Tuff Gong Studio.
HOW IT WORKS:
- The Marley Family will select 25 artists to be Semi-Finalists. Each artist will be featured on http://marley.sonicbids.com/ as the Artist of the Week free music download.
- The Semi-Finalists will advance to Round one, the first public voting round. Fans will vote for their favorite artists.
- Each vote will enter them into a weekly fan drawing to win Marley’s Mellow Mood and Gear.
- The three artists with the most votes on the dates specified in the rules will become Finalists and will be selected to perform at Sierra Nevada, Electric Forest and Gathering of the Vibes
- Each of the three Finalists will enter a final round of voting for the Grand Prize of recording an album at Tuff Gong Studios in Jamaica with Stephen Marley.
- Fans will vote for their favorite three Finalists and the Finalist with the most votes will be the Grand Prize winner.One (1) Grand Prize artist will be sent to Jamaica for a recording session at Tuff Gong Studios with Stephen Marley
- One fan will also be selected at random by voting and leveraging hash tag #MarleyUprising to be the Grand Prize winner.
