Best Of The Best Entertainment, in association with 99 Jamz and Humble Lion, is pleased to present one of Jamaica’s hottest young artists, CHRONIXX, performing in South Florida for the very first time at Revolution Live (100 SW 3rd Ave.) in downtown Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, September 7, 2013. The rising young reggae star will be backed by his band, Zinc Fence Redemption.

The highly anticipated show has been a long time coming for the 21-year-old son of respected Jamaican session singer, Chronicle. It was his father’s music biz relationships that gave a young CHRONIXX (formerly Little Chronicle) access to such icons as Burro Banton and Gregory Isaacs, whom he would diligently observe in the studio. The prodigy wrote his first song at five years old; was choir director at his church by age 11; and by the time he turned 16, was producing music for peers like Konshens and Munga Honorable.

In 2011, CHRONIXX burst on the Jamaican music scene with a string of powerhouse, Zinc Fence-produced (Romain “Teflon” Arnett) singles, “Behind Curtain,” “African Heritage”, “Smile Jamaica” and “Warrior.” Last year, he dropped the massive Lancealot-produced smash “They Dont Know,” which catapulted him to the top of the international reggae charts. A newer single, “Here Comes Trouble,” is currently simmering at #1 on legendary UK selector David Rodigan‘s Hot Hits Chart for August.

CHRONIXX and Zinc Fence Redemption recently wrapped the artist’s first European tour. The upcoming concert at Revolution kicks off a mini tour of the East Coast (Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Connecticut, New York). Singer Kelissa is confirmed to open. Jabba will host, alongside Mikey Mike and Empress Yvette. Music by Massive B, Waggy T, Supa Sound, Fergie & Springer, Jahstream. Doors open from 11pm – 4am.
