The 5th Annual Atlanta Caribbean Jerk Festival was held during Labor Day Weekend. The event, as usual, drew families from far and wide across the Metro Atlanta area. The very anticipated family-oriented event was a one day cacophony of jerk mastery, good music and tons of fun!
Jerk chefs from all over the Atlanta area competed in the competitive jerk grilling contest vying for the coveted title of “Atlanta’s Top Jerk Chef”. The cook-off included the staple jerk chicken and jerk pork but there were many other variations thereof, including jerk juice made by this year’s 12-year old champion!
The show also included performances by Anthony Malvo, Singing Melody, Professor Nuts all backed by the Rockaz Band. The event was a success as proven by the huge masses of people waiting on line for a bite of the savory treates being offered by the many vendors.
